WONDERFUL news, Reddit! My fluffy, fat, handsome boy is HOME! Thank you so much to everyone for all the comments/messages and even offers to help with the vet bills! It seriously means the world to us.They checked his ATL (liver enzyme) and bilirubin levels and they had gone down significantly this morning and informed me he'd be able to go home this afternoon! There was much rejoicing.I picked up a much healthier looking, happy, purring kitty from the vet (with a 10 year old and 5 month old in tow. That was a fun time, let me tell you). He's been so happy to be home. Our doberman Lilah and other cat, Loki were very happy to see him when he came home and he just laid in the middle of the kitchen floor for a good hour just purring and being happy to be here. He's on quite a few medications for the next 4-6 weeks and we still need to go back in a week to check his levels again, make sure everything is still returning to normal. The vet still thinks he either got a random infection or got into something he shouldn't have.Thank you again, Reddit! Madgi says "thanks!", too!Obligatory happy cat pictures with a shaved patch on his paw from the IVs via /r/cats http://ift.tt/1O3jT2K
